Adler and Crystal did not have a wedding when they were first married and so it was important to them to have their vow renewals in a beautiful place surrounded by family and friends that were important to them. I love photographing vow renewals as they really validate the love and commitment that two people are making to each other and to their families.

The sunset ceremony was warm and loving, humorous and poignant with beautiful background music played by their son on his violin. While I normally head out after the shoot and leave the families to celebrate together there was no resisting Adler and Crystal’s invitation to join them for cocktails, a scrumptuous family dinner and some dancing. It was very moving to watch Crystal have her first father-daughter dance, and it was super entertaining to watch Adler with his uber-suave dance floor moves! Thank you both for including me in the celebrations – I truly enjoyed spending time getting to know your family.
