Bahamas Wedding Day! Such amazing weather for this vibrant, colourful, energetic Bahamas wedding with the ceremony being held on the Lyford Cay Club lawn surrounded by beautiful palms and with a hint of the sea kissing the shoreline in the distance. Check out the super fun powder blue mini moke which became the coolest prop for our groom pre-ceremony photos! And the vibrant, colourful bouquets and arch created by the ever-amazing Araxie and her team from Wildflower Bahamas.
Every moment of this day was amazing from the Father-of-the-Bride walking his daughter down the aisle to the hilarious speeches during dinner, from the Swedish tradition of the bride/groom getting kissed by all members of the opposite sex whenever their significant other leaves for the loo, to the very Bahamian tradition of the Junkanoo rushout.
The ceremony began to the captivating voice of Sweet Emily, a Bahamian music icon, and set the tone for a perfect blend of British, Swedish and Bahamian traditions for this down to earth and super cool couple. For the rest of their weekend of events check out Part 1 and Part 2.
I’d also be remiss if I didn’t mention my amazing 2nd shooter Susan Davis without whom capturing these very large and dynamic Lyford Cay weddings would be near impossible.
