Simplicity at its finest. Kate and Matt opted for an intimate family and friends wedding at the world renowned Pink Sands Resort on Harbour Island, Eleuthera in The Bahamas. Harbour Island is famous for its stunning pink sand beaches that stretch for miles along the coastline of this tiny island. A mixture of old world charm and modern amenities, full of colonial style / pastel colored historical homes and dining opportunities of excellence, Harbour Island has been a draw for the discerning traveller for many, many years. Accessible only by boat and with the primary mode of transportation being golf carts, if you visit this little island then the locals know that you REALLY wanted to be there. And Kate and Matt picked the perfect location to suit their personalities. Sunset is the perfect time for an Eleuthera wedding as the colours of the pink sand begin to pop out, the skies are dramatic and the turquoise colors of the ocean just pop. After a few quick snaps at Kate’s ocean view villa as she prepared for the ceremony, we moved our way to the beach location where Kate was escorted down the aisle by both of her parents. Following the short and sweet exchange of vows we took advantage of the falling light to get wonderful beach photos and we squeezed in a few minutes to explore the Pink Sands property for other locales on our way to the Blue Bar where the new couple enjoyed a family style dinner on the beautifully decorated open air deck – watching the sun takes its final dip in the sea for the day. A beautiful couple who were so much fun to shoot as you can see from all of the laughter and smiles in the photos. Best of luck to you both!
