Bahamas Wedding Photographer: Heather Carey Photography
Bahamas Wedding Venue: Graycliff Restaurant & Hotel, The Bahamas
Maureen and Ryan were two of the most gracious people that I have ever met. They were referred to me by friends in the Greek community who had seen some of my previous work and I am so thankful that this connectionallowed me to have Maureen enter my life. Like me, it has taken Maureen a few extra years to find her true love (although I am still looking!) and we had some beautiful and inspiring conversations. This couple also introduced me to my first Graycliff chocolates and I’m still debating whether to be thankful to them for the extra pounds I have now put on as a result! There truly is no going back once you’ve tasted the chocolate/guava or the chocolate/passion fruit. YUM! YUM!
The wedding was small and intimate with just a few of their very close Bahamian friends. Although Maureen and Warren live in the US they have close ties to the islands and have been coming for many years and the historic, famous and elegant settings of the beautiful Graycliff suited them to a T.
Bride and groom preps were at a friend’s beautiful Lyford Cay home, where we also managed a first look which brought us all to tears. You can see the love in Warren’s eyes – so moving….
After a quick private photo session at Graycliff the guests began arriving and the garden ceremony began. A few pics at cocktail time with a little sneaking into the exclusive and infamous wine cellar where the private dinner was being held, and this photographer departed energized by the love of family and friends. Maureen will always hold a special place in my heart and I can only wish this couple a lifetime of love, love, love.
