Joe’s daughter, Melanie, contacted me a few weeks ago to arrange for a very special family portrait session while her family was vacationing at The Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. Joe was bringing the whole family together for the first time in many, many years – and it was really important for Joe to have beautiful images of him, his children, and his children’s children. When I had my first conversation with Joe on the phone he was a tough cookie and I couldn’t help but wonder what the session would be like! But Joe was a dream. A tough nut on the outside, and all warm and fuzzy on the inside. This was a fun shoot, with everyone willing to try just about any pose. We got some some unique photos, but I’m keeping those as special to the family and showing the more traditional ones here. As you can see, the weather was stunning! Maybe I’ll be photographing Joe’s wedding next ?? (big smile)
