I have to say that while it’s always fun and exciting to begin working with new clients, there is such great enjoyment of photographing repeat clients and their families – there’s nothing like watching their beautiful children grow and to see their personalities develop. There is also a comfort level that is achieved when it feels like you’re photographing your own family, and the kids definitely become more participatory and less wary. Each time I photograph the Glinton family it’s a lot of fun. They love to hold the sessions in interesting places and this year we decided to work with the non-tropical landscape of the Albany golf course. Of course, they were late! – which meant a lot of zipping around in the golf carts to hop on/off for great shots as the light was rapidly falling, and I mean rapidly. But there was a lot of laughter with crazy mom Tracie trying to direct the shoot – as usual 🙂 – and performing some interesting dances behind me to try and earn some laughs from the boys. If only I had a gopro hidden behind me! Thanks to Brian for being such a great lighting assistant. Your boys are stunning and we finally got a few smiles out of Benny again!
